Interested to see how Molly's Mango gets on today in the bumper at Punchestown. I believe she had an entry or two the back end of last season but was never declared. She could be an interesting bumper horse this season. Wouldn't be the first time Gordo had a decent filly in the Champion Bumper, either.

Her sire is new to the game of breeding, but he wasn't a bad hurdler himself. The dam is by Stowaway, who probably needs little introduction, having sired multiple festival winners, including 2012 Champion Bumper winner, Champagne Fever. The grand dam has also produced a festival winner, in World Hurdle winner, More Of That. So there is encouragement on the breeding front.

Whether she obviously turns out to be close to that level is very much up for questioning, starting with todays bumper run. She's 50/1 for the Champion Bumper with 365. Given this is with cash out available, I am going to roll the dice and have her backed for small stakes.

Springwell Bay declared to run on Thursday at Carlisle. Maybe one of the best English novice hurdlers this season, may not be as good as the Irish for Cheltenham but I can see him being aimed at the Betfair Hurdle this season

              Agree on both

              Now trained by Colin mcbratney
Notification of change of trainer on Racing Post site as 16th Jan 2018
Obviously won races after this date for Willie Mullins including Paddy Power chase 2020

              Abscence since then a worry
Will wait till after Sunday before deciding to add
Hardly likely to shorten and if very impressive markets are slow to react to p2p

Doesn't really matter this early with no markets but bear in mind 4 runs needed for C1/2 hcaps will catch a few out on entries and eligibility this season know doubt.

Nicholls with a few out this weekend, mostly for Johnny De La Hey.

Couple of newcomers, one mentioned previously on the forum, in Him Malaya, as well one called Ivaldi, who is 1 from 1 over hurdles in France, and in behind him that day was Mister Policeman, now with WPM.

He's also got a couple of others running, in the shape of former forum favourite, Pic D'Orhy, as well as Tamaroc Du Mathan.

There is a high possibility that we see none of them at the festival, but it whets the appetite seeing some of these names appear, especially some of the newcomers that have been noted previously on here.

…I notice Meghan Nicholls put up Divilskin as her horse to follow this NH season, yet her father hasn’t mentioned it in his stable tours.

Yes, the trainers son is up and claiming 7lbs.

That looks winnable for a Punchestown Festival winner, and starting off in a 2M4.5F Maiden Hurdle shows that its stamina that they think this lad has, not speed.
