    Fabulous news for Ramillies supporters. Get declared and jump round safely to complete qualification for the NHC.

    • ….GA Law appears to be heading to Doncaster but the Festival target seems dependent on his next run. There’s even mention of a Kelso Handicap in March;

        The only race he could go for really (as a winner) over 3M until the Ten Up on 12th Feb.

        Same for Gentlemansgame.

        Keeps their options open.

        I presume if Ramillies runs well enough at the weekend and Gaillard runs well enough over too short a trip at the DRF then Willie/Donnellys will send Gaillard to his best chance of winning and Ramillies would go to the other race (BANC/NHC).

        Gaillard's been the better horse of the two to date.

        • I have been going backwards and forwards regarding Gaillard and his destination……. I am now of the opinion it all revolves around Sir Gerhard and a blemish free competent performance tomorrow!!! That will then cement his place in the turners and push James du Berlais to the BANC and Gaillard will be free to win the national hunt chase safe in the knowledge Willie has got all novice chase races covered with a decent one or two or three!

                      • Some crackers in there. Will be plenty of Cheltenham insight but to be honest they look so competitive might actually be more value just backing for the weekend in many cases.

                          Lossiemouth is currently my biggest winner in the race and I'm happy she won't be meeting Blood Destiny until Cheltenham, but not for the same reason as you haha. I have this feeling Blood Destiny is the better horse and he is going in more multiples now for me.

                          Hoping Gala doesn't get too close to Lossiemouth, as I've completely gone back on my belief that she his Triumph horse, I now think she'll end up in the Boodles as Lobos has been saying for quite some time.

                              Love that. Puts the NH Chase rumours to bed, IMO.

                                Fair play to Gordon. A very rare raid. Hope it pays off for connections.
