City Chief has an entry at Hereford on Monday, clearly fit and well with Hendo looking to get him a run.
Will be needing to win that and win it quite well to be considered a serious horse for the festival, the horse clearly needs a confidence boost after his less than impressive jumping on debut, I just hope they're not looking to get him a mark and a Kim Muir tilt, not entirely sure they'd use up top should that be the plan...

Hollow Games another interesting one. Mark here, then run him out of it at the DRF and to the Grand Annual/Plate.

He still needs another chase run though before he can race in a festival handicap however, so I wouldn't think fishing for a mark as it will change, but maybe looking at the Plate route like some have gone from this race (Simply the Betts springs to mind)

Yes, but I doubt that mark would change if, like I say, he was run to finish out the back of the screen at the DRF.

In the end it would still change if tailed off by miles, but also he is not entered in any race (handicap or none handicap) at the DRF

Bit of a wild one, but maybe he sees him as a National horse and is working out whether he needs his mark to rise to get in.
He's a fairly experienced horse, maybe not over fences but has had a fair bit of racing for a 7yo.
Weight release date is what, two weeks tomorrow ?

Fairly au fait with the new rules for class 1 and 2 handicaps.

But does anyone know if they have to have ran 3 times over fences to run in Saturday's Novice handicap class 2.
If so, I wonder if the UK handicapper won't even give Hollow Games a Mark ?

Yeah, I think Lobos mentioned it could be a National plot for him. Time will tell. I'm hoping he ends up in the NH Chase and Gerri goes for the BANC still
