Are U Wise To That also entered on Sunday at Uttoxeter. Also entered in this race is a decent horse called Colony Queen rated 89 on the flat. It will be an interesting race if they meet.
Also entered in the Huntingdon race on Tuesday is another promising youngster from the Jonjo stable called Collectors Item. He finished second on his only two starts last season but both horses that beat him are really well-regarded with one of them winning the grade 2 bumper at Aintree on his last start of the season.

Frontal Assault entered at Galway next Tuesday. Good to see him out early for NHC supporters.

Did Brazil not already win a Novice Hurdle last year and the Boodles?

Just to add to Lobos comment, I believe it was extended til the end of November this season, but that was BHA so not sure on dates in Ireland

Spot on here. To confirm, HRI rule is as follows:

For the purpose of the 2022/2023 National Hunt Season: "Novice" for hurdle races means a horse which has not won a hurdle race prior to 1st May 2022. However, any horse which wins a hurdle race for the first time from 1st February 2022 up to and including 30th April 2022 (other than a Grade 1 Weight For Age Hurdle) will be qualified as a Novice for the period up to and including the 4th December 2022.

The Novice Hurdle looks pretty hot doesn't it with Brazil in there and flying the Gaelic Warrior form. The race has produced a festival winner in Penhill who won that season's Albert Bartlett. The winner of Sundays race should be festival quality you would hope.

Did anything come out of Brazil's below par performance at Aintree?

There's a low key novices' hurdle race at Worcester (5.05) on Thursday but there are two interesting runners declared at present:

Camulus -A Walk In The Park gelding and half brother to Irish National winner Freewheelin Dylan who finished a 3/4l second to Nick Rockett in his only P2P start. Will 2m be a bit too sharp for him? Hopefully we'll find out on Thursday.

Rare Edition - A good 2nd to Kalanisi Star in his second P2P and then went on to win a bumper at Southwell on his first run under rules. The second horse from the Southwell bumper has since run and won his hurdles debut by an eased-down 14l.

It should be an interesting race if both take part.

The money paid for him after two P2P whilst not winning either looks like Yates is buying under a syndicate name .

Glowed about him didn’t he, obvs beat a hype horse on debut but he seems convinced he’s up to mixing it with graded types.

45K wouldn't seem too ridiculous. Looked a nice enough sort in that bumper.

Your right 45k wouldn’t, was listed at 450k yday thought that sounded absolutely mental even in the crazy market of P2P horses.
