  • Croke Park, Cleatus Poolaw, Sa Majeste, Search for Glory and Farren Glory entered in a 2m6 novice chase at Galway on Sunday.

The Enabler and Patter Merchant entered in a 2m5 novice hurdle same day.

Full sister to My Trump Card and Airline Beach, Closutton entered for Willie in the mares bumper. Also entered at Sligo on Friday. In the same bumper at Galway is Al Arrivee, half sister to Al Blum Photo and with Willie as well.

    • Might add Croke Park for BANC before he runs. Was thought superior to Stellar Story last season and Gordon said that one only ran in Albert because CP didn't. Will wait for confirmation of entry first.

Bleu De Vassy and Prends Garde A Toi also entered up so some of those Gordy x Giggy novice hurdlers could have two runs under their belts before the end of October.

The Enabler is up in trip which I'm happy about although the second run would temper that somewhat

Rated 140 atm. If Gordy doesn't aim him at the NH Chase or the Irish Grand National, he's lost the plot...

He'll surely want at least one top one for the BANC ?

It's plausible - he's had a runner there for the last six festivals, but none have won (Gerri Colombe and Delta Work placed).

He made his name as a handicap genius though, particularly in the staying handicaps (e.g., Kim Muir), so having one more open to him at that kind of distance just seems too obvious to me? Stellar Story may not be as good, but it won't be possible to handicap him as well so it makes sense for him to go the RSA route if they want one - or Better Days Ahead given it tended to be the Pipe horse that went on to Graded success the following years

Even more so, i hope he runs and roasts Buddy One so he gets sent back hurdling as i have him antepost for the stayers although i am very much clutching at straws

                          • Very interesting entry at Galway on Saturday. He has been in my tracker ever since his very impressive win 2 years ago and not seen since. SHOOT FIRST. If he is healthy and well, the stayers beckons

On the back of his impressive win he became a short price Pertemps fav and was also talked about as a stayers candidate.

However his rating is about 2 stone short of Teahupoo so I probably think it’s Pertemps again?
