Cheers Eggs, was just coming on to do the same. Much appreciated.

Think we’ve got the making of a really tasty multiple this month with some nice prices available. Just a case of whether we can find the right ones.

Stattler in the Gold Cup is one I have to say I like. He’s done nothing wrong over fences and it is surely his only target.

Yes for 190K. Sold at the Tatt's Cheltenham sale in April.

Me too. He has enough speed to win over 2m5f and enough stamina to win over 3m6f and his jumping, although not spectacular, looks assured.

From Eggs list and it being stated as a big price e/w yankee, i'd pick:

              Jet Powered (Supreme)
              Edwardstone (CC)
              TSL (Turners)
              Stattler (GC)

Or maybe swap Jet Powered for Gala Marceau (Triumph).

Looking at horses that arent picked in prior months, and are decent sized prices, my shortlist would be

                  Jet Powered - Supreme
                  Stattler - Gold Cup
                  Luccia - Mares NovH
                  Langer Dan - Stayers
                  Rexem - Albert Bartlett

Not everyone is quoting all markets, so I put five in case one of the five horses doesnt work for a bookmaker not quoting on the MNH for example.

Always wise to check the bookmakers sites though, not just Oddschecker, as there are often horses on their own sites (markets too, occasionally) that havent pulled through to Oddschecker.

For example William Hill's entire Mares Novice Hurdle market is missing on Oddschecker.

Evening all - will have a look through the thread tonight and tomorrow and get this up for Thursday morning.

thanks to everyone as usual for the discussion and making my life particularly difficult with so many good points made - exactly how it should be.

I'd like to slip a very late entry in......

                      Ahorsewithnoname Novice Mares Hurdle

Good 2nd this year behind a very good winner. Still has that really favourable 'Novice' tag. 4 time winner on the flat (Rated 96), winning twice this season. Henderson quoted as saying Broodmare plan on hold and that she'll go for it again next year.

Is there a quote that can confirm she'll be going for it again next year?

Only reason I ask is that the broodmare plan being on hold is more because of how successful she has been on the flat since switching codes.

After the Fez this year on RP analysis page:

Ahorsewithnoname is a good mare. She was going to stud, but I think Golden Horn's going to have to wait! That's where she was going, but I think there'll have to be a change of plan. She's still a maiden over hurdles - Nicky Henderson, trainer

In other words, they'll give her until the new year to prove she's worth persevering with over hurdles.

I'll repeat what I've said several times before, it's a big risk getting involved in the mares races this early on. The slightest issue and it's off to stud, particularly those that have already shown breeding potential.

Definitely on hold because she is still a maiden and they see a good opportunity going back to the MNH. He had that typical Hendo grin on his face when saying it Nowt to do with her recent flat wins.
