Why would it be 20/1 when the 5/2 & 4/1 double is only 16.5/1?

He's 9/1 with SkyBet, which is slightly better than the Hills price, and something I'm considering.

I know it would be 16.5/1, but you'd like to think there would be a little bit of value, also the 4/1 is NRNB price and the win today and fez is antepost rules so it should be more than 16.5/1.

I think you're misunderstanding the market to be honest. You can't place the double as the chances of the two events are directly related. Therefore the 'special' element of it isn't a case of enhancing the odds that would be available on the double...

In a dream world we'd love this to be the case, in reality it's nowhere near.

SkyBet @ 9/1 will be basing that price on what price he'll be for the Ryanair if he wins tomorrow, it won't be using the current odds of either race. 9/1 is tight enough, and the 7/1 for Hills is rubbish, but if you think he wins tomorrow then the 9/1 has some appeal about it, IMO.

On reflection the Pic Dorhy win tomorrow and place ryanair at 14-1 is decent.

There is a chance the field thins out tomorrow and shishkin might not even run, although I suspect Henderson is less precious about him now and would run him at Gatwick.

And I doubt Pic Dorhy will run in the ryanair unless he wins tomorrow.

So as a saver for my ryanair book, him winning tomorrow then running in the ryanair (as Paul's Bollocks are still on full show and have been fully veeted ) placing would cover most of my stakes.
And he'd be an unlikely winner. IMO.

At 100/1 for the same, Afadil is now the fav.

Could all change tomorrow of course but thought that was worth highlighting.
