Top punter.
….i presume he took the 40-1 Mighty Potter for next years Turners (33-1 Arkle) with SkyBet last December.
Might actually be worth opening a thread later this year on the 2024 Festival. I remember when Facile Vega started to get highlighted on here, I posted he was 66/1 at that point to win the CB and a/r the following year.Last edited by Eggs; 27 September 2022, 12:13 PM.

I'd love to say I joined the party, but I picked the wrong race for Constitution Hill, thinking he'd go chasing
Fair play to those who have them 66's about FV, I'd be over the moon with them tickets.
I guess the problem arises where there is no word from some members at the time then they appear saying they have x horse at xxx/x odds.
Maybe a thread would help, but the bets are still such a long way off that I can't see anyone wanting to oversee it and keeping tabs on who says/backs what etc... ( Quevega might, as it agitates him a fair bit ) so as to keep on top of after timing etc... which seems to be the main issue some have a problem with. Me, personally, I couldn't care less. More worried about my own positions.
I'm thinking of ditching my diary next season and just posting my +525% ROI after the festival has been

….I’d be happy facilitating such a thread. I think tying in detail from Stable Tours etc could be a route to looking for a bit of value for future festivals.
When you have a very decent novice hurdler like MP, for example, who Elliott says will make a better chaser, then the next years Novice Chases have to be a serious consideration.Last edited by Eggs; 27 September 2022, 01:31 PM.

As it was only their second post I feel bad picking on them a bit. Welcome aboard. We're a friendly bunch, but obsessives. One of the things that keeps this place on the level is transparency to avoid the willy waving so prevalent on this sport. As such brief posts simply with a long gone price are unlikely to be received well. And after all, we're just faceless nobodies, who are you really impressing?

I'm still not convinced how great a lot of those bets actually are to be honest, as much as they may look fancy now.
What price was FV to win the Supreme immediately after the Bumper?
Lovely tickets to be sitting on right now of course but are they actually any better than the rolling singles would've been?
Running with the 80/1... I'd guess he was 16s for the bumper at the time (as an absolute minimum). So you'd need him 7/2 or below for the Supreme. It's probably about right isn't it. But not any real great value above separating the bets like.
