It was a poorish ride but he should have won from that position.
The stables out of form, and the horse looks a beautiful big horse, with scope to jump fence.
Some trainers would say about a season over Hurdles
"anything he does this year is a bonus, as hes going to be at his best as a chaser"
I would agree with that sentiment.Last edited by Saxon Warrior; 29 May 2022, 08:17 AM."Journeys to Glory, breathing in his head".

I should put my footer as An Tobar for the Ballymore as I'm so confident he's a machine. Same feeling I had from Constitution Hill last year and I'm quietly getting my stakes on him this summer.

The form off DDD's P2P is looking dreadful with most of those behind him that have ran again have Pulled Up.
I have backed An Tobar for the Ballymore though.
One of my more speculative bets so far.
However the next 6 horses behind him have now produced 5 individual winners and 1 runner-up (who also Fell at the last when challenging for the lead in another race).
That form looks rock solid and An Tobar is a 1/2-brother to Elle Est Belle too.Last edited by Saxon Warrior; 29 May 2022, 03:17 PM."Journeys to Glory, breathing in his head".

Hills have priced up luccia to win the mares novice at 25/1
She looked extremely good in both bumpers this looks very generous to me
“She looked good there, didn’t she? I said to her owner, ‘There’s a nice novice hurdle for her in a week’s time’, and before I could get out ‘in a year’s time’, he thought I was going to run her next week (at Cheltenham). I thought she would win at Warwick.
“I thought we would win this, until Milton (Harris) suddenly came with the horse who looked as if she would go to the Champion Bumper (Mullenbeg) and all that rain overnight, and put what would have been nice ground here today, back to where it has been all winter – horrible. And it didn’t seem to bother her at all.
“I thought it would run to speed – which she has got – so she could go to Aintree for that mares’ bumper. It is either Aintree or bed – one of the two. The obvious objective is a week’s time next year, the mares’ novice hurdle at Cheltenham.
I'd have her well shorter than 25s personally

Was it loaded up today?
She was slashed to 10s and 7s by the price-cutters Skybet and Unibet after that March Bumper win.
They're too short of course, but 25/1 should be considered a good price and taken very quickly.
It's under the radar at the moment as its not pulling through on Oddschecker yet.
She beat Eabha Grace by 1/2 a furlong yet she's only 16s
Bet365 are quoting on the MNH, but she's not in the market with them yet.
May be worth a price request for her today, to see if they match the 25s.
If they do, snap it up with cashout.
And let FJ members know.Last edited by Saxon Warrior; 30 May 2022, 09:38 AM."Journeys to Glory, breathing in his head".
