He was a reserve and no one pulled so declared a non runner. Entered now for a bumper on Saturday.

Ah, thanks for clearing that up. Will watch out for Saturday.

          • I'm not sure if this of interest to anyone but I'll share anyway. Haute Estime finished 3rd (SP 100/1) in the same race that stablemate Ahoy Senor won. She's probably not quite the same level as Ahoy Senor was at the same stage but I'm told will be going chasing in the autumn. Definitely one to keep an eye out for.

              • No Risk No Fun was impressive yesterday. 16/1 for the Ballymore with a few. Bumper he won was 2m4f and still on the bridle.

Was a very impressive outing. Can see the horse maybe being like JWM this year as to whether he’s a Ballymore or Bartlett horse. With James Gate, Gaelic Warrior and potentially FV, Willie will have a strong hand in the Ballymore which could lean to tilt at 3m. I’ve backed for both at 20/1 and hopefully can cash one out if plans become clearer when entries next season come out

He has been given a Bumper RPR of 113

I don't follow RPR's much. How does that reflect in terms RPR's of others?

For the time of year, its an average figure for a debut win

Facile Vega and Redemption Day were 141 and 140 at Punchestown.
                              Thats top end of course.

You'd be looking to break into the mid 120s or higher on debut to indicate a top horse - though not all of them show that first time out.

I presume the horse is going hurdling next season given the timing of the run.

Thanks Sax, I just looked at Redemption Day and Facile Vega's debut bumper RPR's and they are better. Hard to know about No Risk No Fun as he never came off the bridle. But I understand the view you have in regards to RPR's.

He's one to keep in the tracker for now.
