That said if CH is staying hurdling that would surely make him Nicky's best 2 miler?
That's the logic i'm going with, Jonbon to the Arkle unless he looks desperate for further. CH looks almost certain to stay hurdling and for now he seems to see Walking On Air as his one for a trip. I suppose we'll find out a fair bit this week!

Absolutely, would say Arkle would be favourite, but just don't think it's nailed on and could easily see him step up. I have covered him in both with options of cash out.

Sprinter also took in Aintree before Punchestown, sure the thinking at the time was that it was running him at all 3 festivals that caused his issues. Could be remembering wrong though.

I think you recall it exactly right Stormez, but for me there’s just an immediate rejection of Pumchestown for any of his good horses regardless of whether they take in Aintree or not.
Sprinters treble at the time was remarkable, can’t imagine we’ll ever see that again…

Sprinter did take in Aintree in between though. CH has had or will have had plenty recovery time to go again in 2 weeks time.

If he goes I think it’ll be against novices.

He didn’t look like he came out of first gear for any of them did he, incredible. Obviously took more out of him than appeared at the time though.

Hendo loves a week on the piss at Jessie’s so be surprised if he didn’t have something running there!

                • I'm staggered Conflated can still be backed at 40/1 for the Gold Cup after his performance yesterday, the fact his price hasn't moved suggests his run didn't enhance his Gold Cup chances, I must be missing something....

Jonbon is one if you are doing a diary, I'd get him in early for the arkle. Just think a Henderson, McManus horse, half brother to Douvan, that will have a well planned route and IMO he has a serious chance to arrive at cheltenham unbeaten as a chaser, so his price is only going to shorten. An Irish horse has never finished in front of him and is there not a great chance he won't meet another Irish trained horse until the Fez??

Mullins 100% holds the aces for the arkle next year with Sir G, appreciate it, El Fabiolo, State man, Dysart Dynamo all with possibilities of running it. So leave the mullins roulette till the Sunday before the fez and just cover Jonbon

                      • I can see Appreciate it running in the turner's, I'm not willing to put any money on that opinion due to his injuries but that's what I'm thinking as of now

                        • Sir Gerhard arkle
                          three stripe life turner's

                          Little related double

Will be throwing away my skybet weekly free bet on that at 65/1

                          • Life in the park (currently 50/1 BANC) who runs at Tramore tomorrow. Not excited much on his hurdles starts (excuse last time out) but still expect him to win tomorrow with a brighter future as a chaser, hoping he can go the same path as Minella Indo and be targeted at the BANC next year.

he was pointed out here before he ran in his hurdle races, his RPR for his PTP is really good but it just didn't translate will be a watch and see for me as I doubt theyll move his price

                              • Anyone considering backing gelino bello for next years festival, harry Cobden was on luck on Sunday saying they’ll aim for aintree over fences next season.

I don’t think you can back any nicholls horse ante post for next years festival no matter how good they might be.
