Theyve been messing up their prices the last few days.

Flightline 3/1 out to 6/1 back to 3/1 same day
Jack Christopher 10/1 out to 20/1 back to 10/1 the following morning.

Smacks of a cock-up, and I know canny folk that took advantage of the two I mentioned above.

The 6/1 Flightline and 20/1 Jack Christopher were the prices before they were cut to 3/1 and 10/1 respectively. I know because I already had them backed at exactly those prices. The drop back to 6/1 and 20/1 was out of line with the rest of the market and must have been some kind of error. They were cut back in within 24 hours, which suggests that an influx of money highlighted it.

Highlights to us all, that in markets where nothing is going on, theres little point betting too early, just in case something does go wrong with a horse, before the season starts.

Unless the bookies have made a rick (like the 25s on luccia) and something will have shortened significantly by October much better off keeping money in your pocket

I monitor the exchanges quite regularly as it’s 1 of the few accounts I have left and noticed this yesterday. The same thing happened again today as if someone is trying to lay without raising too much suspicion. May be nothing in it but thought I’d highlight it in case anyone has positions or considering a bet.
