      Worked out well for them.
No irrigation to Old Course means they'll run on beautiful ground.
A drop on Wednesday will help maintain good to soft on the New Course.
      Bring it on...

The grounds going to be proper quick tomorrow. Fresh ground. Dry winter. They’re going to ping off it!!!

Im seriously considering holding back on any more bets until their lined to go off, think we’ll be seeing a lot of runners that are up or near the front, especially on the l old course

Good ground out there, so presumably will water overnight? Good to soft in the morning?

Can anyone around the Cheltenham area provide an update on weather in the morning? Seeing conflicting forecasts in terms of overnight rain/tomorrow - would be great to have a line if anyone is about

Looks like they were watering not long after racing ended today.

Doesn't look like it's rained so far this evening?

Bit due on the ground this morning, hazy with grey skies and blue trying to poke through.

Rain is looking like it could miss here today according to weather on tv, that bbc app is as useful as a chocolate fireguard! Met office only showing cloud most of the day and possibly bit of rain, will just be 50:50 whether it hits or not.

That’s your morning forecast from a down but not out Scotsman

5mm put down and still could catch some rain. Could easily be soft.

Not going to lie - that latest report from the clerk on twitter just now is so not useful!

I thought its a case that it was meant to be softer but the rain didnt come lsat night. Or was the rain meant to arrive during this morning or lunch today ?

Sounds like I need to wait a bit longer before backing any good ish ground horses today ??

They messed up by not watering on sunday and monday
Now they we have a double whammy, watering plus rain

They need to get that flipping going stick out and get measure as we go through lunch time. I just dont know how much of this water will get through into the ground given how dry its been this season. I think it will be on the slower side of good to soft, but hard to say
