Why would someone go on a PRE-VIEW and not have looked at the race yet?

Lydia is fantastic, but how annoying! At least 3 races so far she's said that she needs to look at the race so has no opinion..... it's the fecking PREVIEW.

I find these unwatchable tbh. The thing is, the majority of people on this forum know far more than the panelists on most of these. It's the old passion vs day job thing. We're here because we love it, they're there to get paid. The one last week was the worst where they had the girl who rides work for gordon (forgot her name), she said she fancied delta work for the cross country and the rest of the panel basically mocked her saying he's not even entered (he is). Fucking clueless on most things, had to turn it off

That preview was the worst one I’ve watched. Race Hour one is the main one I watch each year & this year’s was great too. Some decent shouts & actually entertaining too… no one shouting over one another, no prats & some interesting analysis. Dairmut Nolan’s always been a tipster I’ve taken notice of, TMSG his biggest bet of week

Paul Kealy's response is another example of this holier than thou view. Look at me, I'm the racing purist. Getting a bit embarrassing now. The race has been running since 2005, it's now the 18th running. It's no longer the novelty. It reminds us what racing was before the advent of proper racecourses.

Tried watching the Paddies one when I got in from darts but the stored feed turned off after 8 minutes and started again. Not in a rush to go back tbh. Everyone seemed to be ill at ease with their role. Tony Mullins is gas in front of a crowd, but seemed really muted. Lydia is one of the best hosts around, having to do an unfamiliar panel role so the owner of a bookmaker can read offers off a bit of paper. Do you really get the best of Ruby in one minute snippets? Mad how wrong they got it all

Tomorrow 7pm - Ultimate Tipsters Cheltenham Preview (Hugh Cahill, Kevin Blake, Tony Calvin, Kate Tracey, Barry Orr)

Kealy slating the cross country really annoyed me too, never taken to him anyway as he always comes across as a right miserable fucker but trying to suck the life out of Tigers swansong means he can get in the bin for me, no time for him.
