Thanks for that - excellent summary - DJ made similar remarks at Navan yesterday (when I could actually hear him) and he has been admirably consistent - his belief in M Crooner and Tide turns seems particularly strong. I personally thought he was very on the ball at Navan
As an aside, hopefully next few days will finally give us all some clarity on this supreme v ballymore nonsense for many at the top of the market- the trainers seriously need to call it, what exactly new are they going to discover about their horse in the next few days?
Wow look lads, my horse is suddenly better over 2m / 2 and half ! How did no one see this for the last 6 months ?! Amazing, all this uncertainty was so worth it!!
With the advent of you tube and twitter tipsters, there seems to be even more of these preview nights, and tips for more than half the fields in the handicaps. They leave me cold to be honest, and that was even before I spent a good year listening to a lot of very knowledgeable debate. Are some of you trying to watch as many of these as possible, or steering clear of?

I watch as many as I can, not because I’m expecting to unearth any nuggets but because I’d much rather listen to people talk about the Cheltenham Festival than watch Corrie or call the midwife.
