We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.
I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

As posted previously, Impervious (MNH) for me & I also increasingly like the chances of Vienna Court in the Mares Chase although I understand selections for this final Yankee will be forum favourites.

Haven’t checked this morning but Impervious was 1000 to lay yesterday which usually indicates an issue…
Just finished the podcast flurry from Jono and Spectre, Langer Dan probably needs put up for this.
Also, most likely too late for this Cheltenham unless they want to do a bonus one but a podcast Yankee would be good at some point (maybe next season) Kevloaf make it happen
My shout would be Couer Sublime or Ciel De Niege for the Grand Annual. The latter could be WPM’s ticket to the handicap chase hoodoo if not aimed at the Arkle. Imo the Grand Annual will be won by a top rated horse, weights may not come into it. Horse with the most ability and a solid ride by the jockey. Walsh is riding out his skin. At the minute so I’d give him the preference over CS
Also keeping an eye on Frero Banbou for Venetia, depending on Brave Sesca goes. Same oweners as Eklat de Rire, although he’s 12’s 14’s mainly.
Gaelic Warrior
Run Wild Fred
Tiger Roll
Langer Dan
Seem to be up there with the most talked about horses this month. If the first 3 win, we also then get the agonising wait for the final race to see if Langer Dan can win.

I’d be happy with that. But would put Galvin in too … not sure who for … maybe Tiger at the price and given Pengarde is running today
This is the sort of post worthy of 10 up arrows at once. Go on the Gaelic good thing.
Will post the Yankee as usual on the 1st or the 2nd. Probably the evening of the 1st. Not long left of the month to get the nominations in but I know for sure three of the horses very popular on here that’ll be in (forum horses). And the case for the fourth has been made well too so unless someone can find a reason to suggest otherwise, it’s probably near enough sorted.
However, I’ll re read the thread and previous yankee threads as always to make sure.
And then that will be it for another year of the FJ forum monthly yankees!
So the festival forum yankee for March 2022. As always it’s four of the long term popular horses on here as has become somewhat a tradition. The fatjockey horses of the year that we all seem to want but all in one Yankee.
Sp the the final festival forum Yankee for 2022 is as follows:
- Run Wild Fred (NH Chase) @ 3/1
- Galvin (Gold Cup) @ 4/1
- Gaelic Warrior (Boodles) @ 11/4
- Langer Dan (Martin Pipe) @ 5/1
- Tiger Roll (Cross Country) @ 2/1
Best odds - 1349/1

Yes.. it’s a super Yankee. But I couldn’t split these five horses for long term fat jockey fancies. If you look through all 12 threads, the top two are just forum horses. I believe Gaelic Warrior and Langer Dan have become the handicap equivalents with so many of us on them. And how can I leave out Tiger Roll? He’s almost become a forum plunge in recent weeks. Whilst I know the final month here may lack the recent form and value of previous months but the romance of having the whole forum on a Super Yankee of the five most popular horses is how I’ve gone and is how it’s been in recent years too for this last month. With the daily yankees threads starting up about now, we can save all the recent form analysis for those.
As one final note, cheers to everyone for their help and knowledge on these threads. The discussions have once again made them real fun and hopefully they can repeat recent years and make a profit. Who knows, perhaps the FJ lifechanger multiple is sitting in there from one of the months.
