I understand questioning things, but it's worth mentioning that Spectre did put up Happygolucky as 'Naiad' last year and was very unfortunate not to land the winner. Nothing to suggest he's having us all on IMO.

But I mentioned Happygolucky and that is when they went OH RIGHT!! You see if a random puts up a selection there is little interest but if it's a popular guy with a recent result fresh in the mind then ......

I backed the winner a few weeks ago, vintage clouds 33/1, in my singles diary. I never backed GQ not because I don't respect spectre judgement more the fact I never back someone else's pick, only do I take information or pointers and make my own decision. As I said the other day it was his insight that pointed me towards remastered in the pertemps for a few multiples.
let me make this clear for a everyone, I am not accusing anyone of anything.

It is weird. How does gambling on an outsider in the Ultima materially affect the same horses price in the plate? Bear in mind there were no exchanges in play.

To be honest I am questioning it now yes. Remembering his post it was quite clear he got muddled, maybe just pissed but it was suspicious at the time and even more so after today's run, never an Ultima horse and a man like spectre knows that.

I happen to enjoy a bit of controversy! i just dont enjoy skirting around the truth of it! You thought it initially, then you wasnt keen on owning it at first, but now you are so fair enough!

Held up out the back? I'm sure Spectre said GQ will run a true race when running prominently? This leads me to believe he was never thought of as a stayer, he was held up in the hope that he would get home over "an easy 3 miles" in a valuable race and pick up decent prize money, he didn't he swooped around the outside and had little left.
Spectre I also remember a post you made that was very confusing, in which you was adamant the plate was Where GQ would win, an outsider looking in may think you have used this forum to increase/hold up a price for another race, especially with the owners of GQ

And whilst I’ll leave the bet to run I doubt he’ll be a winner as this will be more competitive than all the other races he’s ran in this season

He travelled really well i thought, but just didnt seem
to see it out im sure he can pick up a nice pot over 3miles somewhere though
