Spectre,
I respect your insightful knowledge & have enjoyed many posts that you have written.
May I say that it is my opinion that you are 1 year early with your tip for GQ. I fully believe that the trainer thinks he's an out & out stayer and will be campaigned that way with this race in mind next year. He will be a second season chaser as well. Good luck with GQ next year. I may well be with you if he meets certain TRENDS.

Lay it on the table.
Ive backed 5 horses,
Full Back
Ben Dundee
The Wolf
Cloudy Glen
Floueur.
I think Ben Dundee will defo place & The Wolf is a strange horse who runs in snatches trained by a muppet. That said, I've got him on the team for place potential. He tends to sit at the back which is not ideal for this race. But he's the McNeil one for me.
I would have Fortescue in the team but not after that gruelling race at the weekend. Im going to add Mister Fogpatches to my list, although im not sure he's a runner here. Maybe KM??
No doubt you've got all of them coveredLast edited by doctorwu; 25 February 2022, 02:54 PM.

I read a while ago that Ben Dundee was going to run in the NH chase. Saxon kindly got a price quoted. But 20-1 was not attractive
I was surprised he wasn’t entered so assumed he’d had a setback at the time
him and full back are both ones I’ve not backed yet as I expect prices to hold but will be watching closely
I have the same doubt about the wolf and also expect price to hold.
the other 2 if declared I expect to run well although I hope floured don’t run really
cloudy glen will hose up if on a going day.
if prominent early I’ll be getting excited
However he’s as likely to PU
but 33-1 is massive for a Ladbroke winner off 6lb more, especially given the distances that say.

Put this in my diary but I assume others haven't seen that, The Wolf is an unlikely runner as his next race will probably be the Scottish National. If the going were to get testing then they'd consider moving Kiltealy Briggs to the plate and running The Wolf. Straight from the owners.
