Just looking at Ramillies RPR today when you click on the result of the race it gives him 134 rpr but when you click on his profile it only says 119 rpr, has anyone ever noticed something like this before and if thats the case which is correct. Thanks hope you all had a great xmas and backed loads of winners

Yes billynag ,particularly if the rpr is speculative. Maybe a 20L winning distance or lack of collateral form line . A preliminary rpr is replaced after some deliberation. RPR are a guide to be interpreted and should exploited for there inaccuracies
. A simple example without reference is the discrepancy between hurdle ratings and chases
Also very little detail added to the projected potential rpr.
This could add a total of 17lb to a given rating in some cases in my sums.

Put some distance between him and the second but was more of a grinding victory than a burst away

Im on him as well. Thought he was quite workmanlike myself and was a little disappointed.

Has that look of more of a galloping stayer than a speedy horse. Historically Gordon keeps a lot of those away from the bumper so think Hollow Games may be the same.

Given he has SG makes the decision maybe a bit easier for him come March.

He does look a class horse though and hopefully a big future ahead.

Yes suppose a lot may depend on the owner. Sure I read a quote a while back they were keen to have as as many Cheltenham runners as possible.

Christ what was the jockey doing on the 2nd for the last 1.5f, looked like he didn't have a clue, should of made that much more difficult. Personally think there are some far speedier types than Hollow that we've seen to date for the bumper sphere.

He'll probably only run if its soft or worse, from what I've gleaned.
But he has enough speed and more importantly looks to have the stamina required IMO.
You don't get Bumper winners or many runners from that race ending up in the Champion hurdle.
Tends to be won with strong staying types with a bit of class/speed.
