Id be more concerned he might injure himself between now and March. He just screams class and looks the next Cheveley Park superstar rolling along production line, love to know who actually recommends these horses to them , what a eye he/she must have about horse constitution.

You're dead right, he'd want to be minded. Because going forward he's a multiple grade 1 winner potential.
Yeah, they've have some arsenal of young horses atm. Someone mentioned how they're like this era's version of Ricci's stars. Now a lot of them still have a lot to prove but the potential is there. Seems to be no shortage of money anyway, Sir Gerhard was 400k!!

At least Sir G runs in a race without any obstacles to get over, which cuts out one big issue that all the other runners in the 27 other races have to encounter - if they actually get there.
Sir Gerhard had a perfect trip and ran away from a horse who has now been hammered by three Elliott horses. The third was ridden as if he would struggle to get home and he didn't. It was visually impressive but no more than that. People are talking as if they have never seen a bumper horse quicken up before. It is hard to believe there are no other horses who could have done similar. There was probably very little substance to the performance and he is now priced more on the basis that the owners have won the last two Bumpers than anything else. At his age they should really be thinking about the bigger picture and jumping hurdles.

Couldn't agree more.

Seems to show that the good ones may be coming out early.
In the Racing Post Patrick Mullins mentioned a Graded race at Navan, if it didn't come too soon.
He then mentioned they hope she may be classy enough for Aintree.
I am assuming that means the Grade 2 at April's Grand National meeting.Last edited by Saxon Warrior; 3 November 2020, 09:36 AM."Journeys to Glory, breathing in his head".
