Crowdfunder - Fat Jockey Forum upgrade

Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

Stating the obvious, but looking forward to see what the best of Willie's are, as usual
Deploy The Getaway and Reality Cheque are the two I'm currently interested in from the Mullins yard.

How have these two fared under rules so far ?

They both only have a PtP victory to their name. Deploy The Getaway would have been part of the bumper team last season but met with a setback, he's now back and will be running in a bumper at some point. I'm not sure if they will kick on with hurdling given his age though and the fact Sir G covers the bumper angle for them already. Reality Cheque took two attempts to win his PtP and will likely start in a bumper too, however, he's also a 5yo so could go hurdling too.

Apologies JM my comment was extremely facetious, I was highlighting the fact they hadn’t raced under rulea and it was a direct reference the the discussion of last night/early this morning...

In that case I misunderstood your intent

You will see from my comments that I'm not calling the winner at this stage either and that's despite the fact I was one of the earliest band members beating the Sir G drum, albeit I started off with the view he'd go hurdling.

Has anyone called the winner yet? Think people have just said SG looked special the other day but no more than that.

DTG is of definite interest. I'm just waiting on an entry and I'll make my play on him also.

I'm not sure I can respond to that without incurring a 7 day ban

                    • Anybody got quotes post race on Brooklyn Glory after her win in yesterdays Cork bumper. Given an RPR of 128 and would get the mares allowance if aimed at Cheltenham

October is not the month to be declaring certainties for any race, let alone the bumper...
There could well be Ista but normally someone has had a titbit about them by now and they have been mentioned so they must be kept very under wraps the past month or so. Time will tell I guess.

                          • David Mullins said last year Willies could barely separate Deploy The Getaway, Ferny Hollow and Appreciate It at home. Must be some tool. I've him backed.

When I expressed surprise to my agent he said that it was bought for Nicky Henderson because they had the Mahler half brother and thought he might be one of their better 4yo bumper horses.

The name? Firestep. No entries yet and possibly one to follow with interest rather than money.

Be careful with backing any Henderson horse for the Cheltenham Bumper. He doesn't like the race at all and will avoid it at all costs if he can.
