  • Couldn’t have him at all. The bumper he won at Christmas is one of the worst ever run. His run year before nowhere near good enough. Well beaten at DRF

He just loves him doesn't he. When Willie talks about him you always get the impression he's his best at home and he's just waiting for him to prove it on the track. Maybe he'll come good at Cheltenham.

Maybe, Power Of Pause was the best at home last year though.

Nope, there's probably a bias towards remembering it when it does.

              • I no Tony mullins has family ties to this kilcruit but jeez he was sweet on him on the paddy power preview last night! Won’t hear of defeat for the thing!

That's not strictly true is it? In fact, he even mentioned he might be done by Sir Gerhard?

He was adamant that he'd be best of them in the future, and will be favourite for the Ballymore or Albert Bartlett though.

Now don't get me wrong at all, I was definitely drinking during, so needs to be fact checked

I thought the complete opposite that he played down his bumper chances but built him up as a horse for next season.
He seemed to have worries especially over this trip

Maybe I’ve heard wrong then,I was listening to it while at work so machinery noise may have played its part

                      • I’ve been topping up on Ramilles every week since DRF, I think we’ll see a much improved effort at the Festival and is the best value bet of the race at the moment. I’ll also be backing Grangee soon, she came on massively from her first run behind Eileendover and the better ground may bring more improvement.

Stopped very quickly after being headed, think he is better than that.

Taken the 33's as is still a horse with plenty of improvement to come, and should still be followed
Got a good mention today by Willie..."lot more to offer..big strong horse"

Happy taken the 33's but gone in again at 25-1 [Bet 365] NRNB

                          • Obviously not one for this year now, but Deploy the Getaway goes tomorrow. 200k Cheveley purchase for Willie who has not been seen for two years since hacking up in his P2P.

Another horse who will be novice hurdling at 7, novice chasing at 8, 9 before open company. Hope they scrap 6yo running in bumpers going forward or at least those who have been in a ptp etc.
