We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.
I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

Pat confirming that kilkruit just kept going at same pace and the others stopped in the race rather than him just quickening past them. Or that’s what I took from that interview

He wrote in depth about that being the case in his debut RP article
How is Sir Gerhard's prep going for the Champion Bumper?
He's very well, Sam. Mark Foley rides him a lot at home and he's very happy with him. His work will really start building up now and he's one to really look forward to. Kilcruit was visually very impressive at Leopardstown and he is obviously the one to beat, but I'd like to see that performance again as the horses in front might just have stopped. He was unbelievably impressive either way. We think a lot of Sir Gerhard and we are really looking forward to Cheltenham in a few weeks time.
Still think Sir Gerhard is the one to beat and at 3/1 if you hadn't already backed him is a very fair price
The Kilcruit race that fell apart is holding up Sir Gerhards price - no doubt Kilcruit is a top horse but the front group at Lep just went to hard and collapsed and he never even had to quicken to go past them.
Kilcruit 13/8 or Sir Gerhard 3/1 - I know who I would prefer to be backing anyway.

This won't be for everyone but at 3/1 he looks ideal for some each way doubles. Hopefully that price will hold and the betting shops will be open for Cheltenham.

Yes, agreed. I recently backed a BO, SG and Quilixios ew treble that excites me. 153/1 for the win. I can't see them finishing outside of the top 3 if they get round, and that would return at 7/2 including the to win stake.

Quite like this one EE.
Also agree with Faugheen_Machine about potential E/W value on Sir Gerhard, only issue I have is wanting him to win enough already

I did that exact bet about a week ago and totally agree.
TAKE CARE RE : I am Maximus put up in the Racing Post today as 1 of 4 longshots to get up the hill at the Festival, this one in the Bumper. NH in his Unibet blog last week already advised
" I was also hoping to run I Am Maximus in the Listed Bumper at Newbury tomorrow but he got sick a couple of weeks ago so had a few easy days but his tests are now all clear and hopefully we can crack back on with him but he certainly won’t be going to Cheltenham for the Champion Bumper. "
I have suggested to the RP that they might want to check with NH and update their article to avoid potentially misleading customers, unless NH has done a U-turn.

Also worth noting that Nicky Henderson doesn't run many, if any in the bumper anyway.
