Crowdfunder - Fat Jockey Forum upgrade

Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

Few nice bumper horses Jamie Codd mentions on Racing Post, all have been mentioned here at some stage anyway.

          Sir Gerhard
          Indigo Breeze
          Glenglass
          Gars des Sceaux
          Hollow Games
Magic Tricks (who runs tomorrow 5/2)

Does he not have to concede the 7? But jockey does knock it off anyway? Form with FH too!

That's the only 2 I've backed so happy with them dead heating.

Apologies for those without PP/BFSB/365 - but I have a question for those that do.

Plenty like to take advantage of cash out.... Hollow Games is 33/1 without cashout, and 25/1 with it....

Based on a comment like that, and let's say, 'an entry', what do people do?

For me 8 points difference is loads. I almost always 'take the biggest price if it's with a cashout firm' as the positives out weigh the negs... but with such a price difference, what are people's approaches?

In the bumper especially you'd take the shorter prices with the flexibility/insurance(to whoever can) purely as there is little/nothing to go on & is essentially guessing to beat the price. That's my view on it &I I don't even build a book on races.

I don't think I've ever had the winner of the Bumper in all my years so apologies for anyone who has already backed Sir Gerhard and Hollow Games ! Let's hope this is the year !

In the bumper race for me its a no brainer would take the cash out option.

You only have to look at the last 2 years. 2019 , Envoi would not have went only Malone got injured. 2020 , How highly thy rate Farouk & Ballyadam and sent neither
Even if he was up there with his best he does not necessarily send them to the bumper, especially ones regraded as maybe big staying chasers of the future (Envoi & Farouk example)

Other races I would play different but the bumper would be cash out unless I am sure closer to the day that is the target when a trainer confirms

I wish I didn’t have the cash out option the year Envoi won though - so glad I was able to cash out when GE said he wouldn’t be going
