  • Looking forward to Hollow Games run tomorrow.Cant see anything else beating it unless it’s one of Gordon’s other horses . It’s a decent card at Punchestown tomorrow.

Good to see him out. Reading Gordon’s comments In SL on his Cheltenham runner he could end up being one for March

He is a very promising bumper horse and it will be interesting to see how he gets on here. I thought that he was quite impressive at Galway and then he won a winner’s race in good style at Listowel a couple of months ago. I’d like to think that he is up to competing in bumpers of this nature and his run here should tell us what direction to take with him over the coming months. He would look to have a good chance

      • Yesterdays bumper at Punchestown (Letsbeclearaboutit) was a very slow time. Nearly a second slower than the rated novice hurdle over the same distance earlier

I'm not sure, the difference is I already had the price and therefore wouldn't have been thinking about Sir Gerhard at 6/1.
The fact he's trained by Gordon Elliott is a justifiable reason that he'd be shorter than a horse trained by Cromwell, as he's more likely to get a festival winner.

As I said, I have now added Letsbeclearaboutit, the price he is, relative to the ante post favourite, is a good one still. I see you have it at bigger than I do too, well done.

Sorry if it offends you that I asked a question on the forum about whether he beat anything of note in somewhere other than my own diary. How dare I not have made my mind up instantly or have a change of mind.

Not sure why you had to add the last two antagonistic/sarcastic sentences. I raised the point out of being even handed in your assessment of the two horses and the fact I disagree with your assessment of the value of the form. Offensive doesn't come into it unless of course you think the same about anyone who disagrees with your view. I haven't noticed you raising a similar point with anyone else.

I'm not sure why you add antagonistic/sarcastic sentences, but I've never had an answer. You just ignore it everytime you get pulled up on it.

I was just mirroring your style, as I like to do with everyone on here.

I've managed to ignore you for ages, disappointed in myself that I bit

....I've also since agreed with you regarding the form....I asked the question immediately after the race, got some answers and have now backed him. I didn't even knock the form, I just asked.

              • Definitely going to chance Hollow Games before this run, been mentioned and highlighted on here by loads

                • Another bumper winner people can go overboard on.
Was impressive to pick up out of that ground.
                  Good engine.

                  • Nice start for Hollow Games. Not as pacey as the performance of Sir Gerhard but reminded me of Envoi Allen or Appreciate It in terms of physical presence.

Backed him any race a long time ago now, which I'm happy to have in the book. Could be a Ballymore type next season

I wonder if Cheltenham is on the agenda. Samcro a previous winner of the race who didn't go. Then again, Malone Road was and he would have gone.

He keeps mentioning soft ground is needed.
                              That'll put some off.
On the ground we've had the last 2 years - I know who I'd back at the prices.

Would be my main concern Kev.
