Sir Gerhard has a mostly flat pedigree, (his mare was placed on the flat, and won a 2M hurdle, the rest of the family were/are flat horses).
Maybe he will never go fencing, if he is so quick, which brings the Supreme Novice Hurdle followed by the Champion Hurdle into play.
If that were to happen then getting to a Gold Cup aged 9 is obsolete.
There's nothing in the pedigree books that says a Jeremy sired gelding would win a 3M2F Gold Cup.
The best jump horse Jeremy has ever sired in his unfortunately short stud career is Our Conor - It would be great if Sir Gerhard could get close to his rating over hurdles."Journeys to Glory, breathing in his head".

Slim chance he can win a supreme or ballymore at 7 also.

I just entered Malone Road in the RP search and knee injury reported early December 2018

For the Champion Bumper Paddy Power go 10/1 from 20/1 about Envoi Allen.
However Gordon Elliott (had a winner at the Longford point-to-point today too) said: "He's a nice horse but he’s a horse for next year. We’re only minding him this year.
“He’ll probably have one more run in a bumper and he won’t be going to Cheltenham.
“He’s a baby and has only been on grass once.”

Surely he is an exception, in running in the bumper at 6 and being 'this good'?
You and Lobos going to start a club for him to win the CH as he'd have no chance in a novice hurdle at 7?
Unless you mean slim chance as he's not even lined in the the Bumper yet, let alone won it and gone through another season unbeaten etc haha - which makes any horse a slim chance.
The age isn't that important though...

The age isn't that important though...I meant both.
The age stats are possibly misleading as there may not have been many 7 year olds run at the top level of novice hurdling. Can't be arsed to look.
But I've seen many 6yr old bumper winners fade into memory when they went hurdling.
And 48 runnings of the ballymore and just one 7 yr old and one 8 yr old is fairly ominous.
Supreme is a little better and I think a couple of won it in the last 25 years or so.

Small data sample though obv.
