Magic tricks declared for Wed. Full brother to Abacadabras bought by JP with Gordy. Second in his point behind Gars de sceaux

As per the ante post thread earlier today "Couple of interesting bumper entries this Wednesday at Punchoestown. Cavallino for Willie & Patrick, owned by Malcolm Denmark (Next Destination etc..) and Magic Tricks (full brother to Abacadabras) for Elliott & JP. The latter was beat by Gars De Sceaux in his PTP, who, from what I can gather is highly thought of."

Fiston Des Issards also another interesting one.

Pencilfuloflead won it last year. But think it took up hurdles after? Worry anyone? Re Sir Gerhard entry Down Royal

I was in the market for a store at the Land Rover sale in August and fancied a Leading Light filly if she was the right price. It wasn't to be because she cost more than I was prepared for. When I expressed surprise to my agent he said that it was bought for Nicky Henderson because they had the Mahler half brother and thought he might be one of their better 4yo bumper horses.

The name? Firestep. No entries yet and possibly one to follow with interest rather than money.

Dark Spark is also very interesting. Won a few weeks back and has a wonderful page.

                Cheers archie.

I notice Elliot has 4 entered for the Friday bumper but 3 of them have already run and all won (one of them twice). I guess all will not run, possibly Sir G and one other perhaps would be my guess.

Chemical Energy is one, which Ray mentioned.

His better one tends to go on the Saturday.

Yep that was what I was referring to as it had a decent bunch of entries. Mostly Gordon's though so nearly all won't be declared anyway.

Backing this just because I enjoy a good naming convention

Had a speculative 1pt on Indigo Breeze at 33/1. Good chance he might go hurdling after the Thurles win like The Bosses Oscar did last year for the same yard, but i'm happy to have a go and his next entry should tell us enough for cash out purposes!

Might be fairly useful. Won a Tipperary Bumper in very good style 20/10. Expecting him to move up in grade(take on some decent bumpers) next time out.

That is good, but it makes it all the more annoying they didn't call him Abracadabras
