It's in the Ante post specials doubles section rather than win today and festival section still I think

      Not sure

Hes been injured and its only the second time hes ever been on a track

We have no idea how close to full fitness he is

      • Made the point in my diary

The English horses are so far behind the Irish he needs to be beating them whether he’s at 100% or at 90%

For Pleasure was 27 lengths behind Appreciate it at a canter. That isn’t 1 or 2% better.

Dusart has had 1 visit to the track

I think I'd let him off just this once

shame he got injured when he did

Doesn't sound like Eileendover will go anywhere near a hurdle. Maybe get a today and AR price for Royal Ascot ??

I'm hoping CH wins but runs out of Gas on the run in as He's my big fancy for the Ryanair

                  • Today was a disaster for the Win Today and Festival combo’s. I’m happy to share the load with Eggs tomorrow if anyone has any requests to be made tomorrow?

Abacadabras was the exception. I’m trying to work out where Streets of Doyen will end up next year - whether chasing or hurdling still, a price on win tomorrow & any race at the Festival may be of interest... can’t see him priced up anywhere yet?

                        • Monmiral 50/1 for the Arkle looks pretty good now, if Nicholls can be persuaded to send him down that route.

Great price in hindsight but I just don’t think he’s got the speed for the Churdle against the current group of Mares plus when Aba started drifting yesterday I lost my faith in him

Assuming he targets the Champion Hurdle I can trade the 80/1 voucher, agree the mares look to have the upper hand but he’ll be a single figure price come March.
I genuinely thought he’d be 9/4 yesterday so the drift was certainly a worry and stopped me from pressing, 4/1 (Not BOG) was nice but he was 11/2 a minute before the off and over 6/1 on the exchange...

It is a great price, and good to see him win.

To me it looked like none of them are top-table Grade 1 hurdlers, but he is best of that bunch.

From a Gold Cup perspective it was weird to see Clan des Obeaux winning so well -then in the same thought process - think how far away he is from winning a Gold Cup at Cheltenham, with A Plus Tard, Minella Indo, ABP, Monkfish and Envoi Allen all being proven to be better Cheltenham runners two or three times over.

It put some good looking Aintree form into perspective for me.
