Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

Just thinking the same, honking! He's 5s with the same firm for the Supreme on its own. The other prices don't seem too brutal at first glance, although if you win the King George you probably aren't going to the Ryanair are you?! So they're fishing exercise prices to me.

I dunno ... seems a more appropriate trial for the Ryanair than for the GC on recent runnings.

I think if Allaho wins the KG he goes to the Ryanair - CPS have Envoi and APT for the GC too. Contrarily, if he hacks up in the 2m at Punchestown next month, he likely goes to the Champion Chase. I think I'll take both doubles (when Punchestown ones become available) The KG/RA at 25/1 seems very fair too.

It's all a matter of opinion, but historically the winners of the KG go to the GC. I don't know how far you have to go back where they didn't, I gave up at 2007.

I'm not doubting that horses who win the KG tend to head to the GC. My point is that the form hasn't really worked out recently and that a flat 3m round Kempton is more akin to the Ryanair test. In my view of course.

When did the last GC winner even run in the previous KG? I can't recall any since the '10/'11 double for Long Run.

As you say though, all about opinions

              • Willie hasn't bothered sending anything over for the King George for a long time. Henry regularly brings horses over, and Monalee was due to come over this season until covid intervened. Surely then Envoi Allen is far more likely than Allaho. Monkfish will presumably run at Leopardstown over Christmas anyway, so I can't imagine Wille and Henry would be too keen ot take each other on so early in the season. It seems natural they've fall in that way without having to think about it too much.

Mr Glass goes in. Had a dabble at 56.5/1 e/w with a boost with Hills this morning for the Ballymore. Thanks Eggs.

Solid effort Lobos. It certainly is - got a feeling it will sell out quickly for next year given everything going on! See you in the Arkle bar for a pint...

Yep, he'd still be eligible, the only rules stopping him would be on age and number of runs.
Although I'd be very surprised if he doesn't go over hurdles next season personally.
