Although I'd be very surprised if he doesn't go over hurdles next season personally.
No chance that he stays a bumper horse next year imo

      LOL

....that price for a/r would’ve been of interest.

Cheers Q, don’t follow the bumpers much!

.....they also have Jonbon & Supreme @ 20-1 (its 20-1 for Supreme with 365 & PP).

And was 28/1 boosted for the Supreme with betfair only a few days ago. We're really going to have to work for it this year aren't we?!

I asked Hills, Betfair, Sky & Coral to price that double up today to see what nonsense we get... seems Hills are sticking with their skinny prices. Betfair initially refused to price it so asked Barry Orr & he said they’ll have a price up this evening... they’re 20s Supreme itself so must be better than that for the double... Sky & Coral no response (unusual for Sky?)...

....that should be more interesting. I do think ‘win today & a/r’ would be a more attractive option at this point.

                    • Waiting to see if Hills or Sky offer win today and Chelt for Petrossian. Won over c&d in November, given "impressive" but form hasnt been franked, but neither has Jonbon's PTP win. I have backed already for Supreme with b365 @ 40/1. If he can give 4lb and a beating tomorrow to Top Of The Bill and Jonbon he will be highest rated of British bumper horses

                      • Betfair have priced Jonbon tomorrow & Supreme at 25/1. Doesn’t seem overly generous to me given you can get just Supreme at same odds with Unibet...

                          Feels like another flinteur sacre
Makes the 20/1 for Honeysuckle to win the DRF and CH a bet and a half, yeah there was still a doubt whether she was going mares or CH... but you can say that about Jonbon (supreme or ballymore)

                          25/1 looks very very skinny

On the flop side... its a JP-Henderson horse and if we go by the 'try and get on Mullins, GE, Nicky's 1st choice' then this is one way to get one
Also, going from previous season, not much comes out of the GB novices, and Jonbon could easily turn out to be GB's best hope

                          Alot of ifs-and-buts. hmmmmm

                          • ...Skybet have Jonbon:

                            win & a/r 14-1
                            win & Supreme 25-1

                            • Jonbon was 33-1 for the Supreme on Monday. Now 25-1 to win today and the Supreme. If that’s going to be bookies approach to more prominent horses this year, perhaps a sign that we should get a horse on side at least a week before and important run?

                              • I get suckered into these fancy pedigree horses all the time on the flat and occasionally on the jumps

How often are they actually any good

What was it nicky said about flinteur sacre in relation to sprinter sacre

Something like "was Maradonas brother any good at football"

Because he's douvans brother he will always be over bet

Looking forward to seeing how he fares tomorrow, no doubt if he wins he will be a stupid price
