Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

    So....
    • 66/1 Ganapathi (sky)
    • 55/1 Magic Tricks (sky)
    • 100/1 Power Of Pause (Sky or WH)
    • 125/1 Dreal Deal (Sky)

Still need to find the right one haha
I'd be amazed if any of them were good enough to win the Supreme. The Moscow Flyer looks a really weak race this year . Winning tomorrow would probably count them out of any Fez handicap as well so those special double bets are just win/win for the bookies imo.

      Dreal Deal I agree.

Wouldn't rule out the other 3 as definitely not being good enough (Although I think the fav is as solid as it gets!)

You'd be able to trade out for a free bet if you could be arsed too.

I don't think they're 'bad' bets.... especially if you picked the right one!

      • Well novices can surprise and at the sort of odds available don’t need to cost much to find out

Just top up on Appreciate It and be done with it. Why try finding one to beat him ?

P.S. If I was having a bet tomorrow I'd fancy Dreal Deal to come out on top if that helps.

          • Nope why bother trying to get a fav beat that could end up going for a different race. Hows his Cheltenham record 1/1 (defeats) just saying

              You know why...

It's January, he might not turn up.

I know you've given up ante post punting now for the season, but the rest of us are still looking for angles, horses that'll shorten etc.

You deciding you're now "done" is like people who claimed everything that would ever be invented had been invented when the TV came out

              • Magic Tricks for me - could well be the best of Gordys Supreme lot. Tomorrow he will show it

Always done by this point. Usually have the main contenders on board for the races I want and very little comes out of the woodwork from now on in. Just save my cash now for the week itself rather than trying to find anything to beat the top 2 or 3 in each race. Dont do Ew as well which is different to a lot on here.

That's a brave call, this is the point of year onwards where most peoples antepost bets go to shit as horses step up and are not as good as they thought, horses get injured..change target.. improve for change in trip.

This is the part to get the most involved imo, and a fair few races I have been waiting on for this point.

You will see alot change in the nov hurdlers and juveniles between now and chelt.

                          Brave, or stupid.

Imagine completely ignoring the Dublin Racing Festival, just assuming you've already nailed it.

Some might call it ignorant - but we know it's Lobos so we just smile and give him a hug

The mares nov may get a shake up shortly.

Alot of people are just starting their bets now, going by very recent sign ups on my own site. Obviously value has gone in a few select races, but the vast majority are all to play for.

                              The drf as you mention...
triumph fav. Fred winter. Ballymore. Bartlett. Bumper. Supreme. Marsh. Rsa. Arkle 2nd fav. Champion hurdle. It's not often all the favs beforehand stay that between now and chelt.

Whether I've just been very lucky in the past with the early decisions I've made I don't know but it works for me to lock down at this time so I'm not going to change it now.
