...now 14-1 in the Hills a/r market, I suppose the issue is it’s likely to come up against Envoi at the Festival.

Yes, he did well there, on Chase debut, though I am no fan of the runner-up.

I hope the Marsh doesn’t cut up to nothing, and we don’t here Hendo suggest Allart could go up or down in trip.
I don’t think he will as Shishkin and Monkfish sit astride the other two markets, so wherever these novice chasers go will probably require a better than average performance for the Grade 1 to beat any of those favourites.

...and I expect that’ll be the quandary for a number of trainers. I’m really hoping Envoi wins and but I expect the likes of Henderson and Mullins will want to pitch against him.

You think Allart hasn't shown enough speed there to be an Arkle horse?

If Shishkin and Envoi Allen were both owned and trained in Ireland, where do you think Allart should run?

I tink he'd be a two miler, I'm shocked you are pigeon-holing him as being a horse for the intermediate trip?

If he avoids Envoi, he takes on Shishkin.... if the trainers switched I'm sure Allart would be an Arkle prospect and even if he'd run in the exact same race, no way I'd watch that and think he would be out of place at 2 miles!

Think Main Fact will win tomorrow in the mud (more rain forecast) anyone wishing to get him on board for the Stayers should maybe think about that 50/1.

                      Kev,

I wasn’t suggesting any trip, just that it would be great if the trainer didn’t make scaredy noises at taking on Envoi Allen.
                      Partly because he trains Shishkin.

With Shishkin and Monkfish astride the top of the 2M and 3M markets, I think we are blessed with strong favs in all three races.

So Allart should go wherever his own abilities give him the best chance.

I’m not sure what that best trip is, but as he is a Shantou, that generally means 2M4F or more, for Cheltenham Festival win and place success, and very little success over 2M.

But stats aren’t everything, by a long chalk.

Ah fair enough, I see what you mean

I think his trainer is a scardy-cat, but him having the Arkle horse that's doin' the scaring means they'll probably split them so Nico has a good ride in both.

I think he's a two miler though as I've said a zillion times today, so I hope we get to see that tested.

33-1 not exactly value, but not rubbish either.
