The horse Jamie codd was riding taking winged leader on so early has basically gifted billaway that

….me too, difficult to take when that happens. Mind you, I backed Porlock Bay last year who chinned Billaway on the line so I suppose that’s racing.

Didn't fancy either of the first 2 but you could see 2 out that Billaway was slowly catching. Winged Leader got a bit lonely and probably wins that race 8 times out of 10.

Dubai Quest ran well for a long way. Probably not up to this class but I'll follow him in his P2Ps next season to see if he improves again.

Have to agree, imagine being Christie & coming so close to winning & getting chinned by the biggest trainer in the sport.

Makes me think sometimes this race should restricted for trainers as well as jockeys, but be impossible to enforce I guess.

The problem with Patrick is usually when he opens his mouth

Stattler, Billaway (especially) and facile Vega were big wins, and has changed my opinion of him for sure. I think both Patrick and Danny have enhanced their credentials for sure.

That's the only notes I will need for this race for next year. Whatever she is tipping for this in the previews I will be backing
