  • Lieutenant Rocco firmly in the mix now for this race.
Just needs to escape too harsh a penalty next Tuesday.

A good 'any race' price when you put him up originally

The worry is he runs in the RSA now.
However, he could place in that with a perfect round.
Definitely looks better over further anyway.
Think he's been campaigned perfectly also, some of these younger trainers could learn a lot.
Just really unfortunate today that he won so easily as they kept ploughing through the fences in behind in the straight.
Hopefully the nice guy handicapper has seen this and gives him 7lb.

He'd definitely have a chance if the ground came up heavy. Be a bit worried if it was on the good side of soft for him, but today was impressive jumped fantastic.

But the horse that just won at Wincanton. Won off 130, and depends on what his new mark will be.

              Time to Get up.

would be interesting here or maybe the Kim Muir.
Looks like he stays all day.

              Not priced up anywhere.
Have you found a price anywhere yet Q? I been looking as well, would be interested in that, was impressed.

              • I’d be keen on Bapaume for this after what looked like a softest of rides under Nurse Townend there.

"I was confident he'd handle the trip and he's made every yard," said Mitchell. "It's the first time he's really had his ground and it's nice to see him do it in style. He beat nice horses into submission.

"That was a joy to watch. He's a natural jumper and that's why we went novice chasing with him at five. It's exciting to have a horse like him. He's entered in the Marsh and in the Festival Novices' Chase as well. Given his performance, we'll have to seriously consider the latter.

"He's one for the future and we'll mind him. We want him to have enough petrol in the tank to achieve the things we believe he can."

That's about borderline for considering the handicap rather than the RSA.
Just depends on the trainer's preference.
We may know once the entries for the handicaps are in, what he feels.
                        Monkfish might help the cause.

They don't seem put off by a challenge to this point.

No, he looks like he would favour a graded race.
