    But we'll see.
Yes, Gordon mentioned four races afterwards, the Fred Winter, Triumph, Supreme and a Grade 2 Juvenile at Fairyhouse.

I was interested that he mentioned the Supreme, and took 33/1 NRNB.
He wouldn’t have mentioned the race, if it wasn’t still on his mind.

    8lb weight-for-age allowance, would run off 10st 13lb, while the 5yo+ go with 11st 7lb.

It may still be there with Lads/Coral, if anyone’s interested.

Teahupoo did stuff Druids Altar by 15 lengths, and that horse has won since and is rated 130 in Ireland (UK will raise him a bit)
On that form alone Teahupoo’s could be 140, or a lump at least, more than Druids Altar’s 130.

His win today didn’t need to improve on that Irish debut.
I think his rating wil be derived from the Youmdor, Druids Altar race, which was far stronger.

Do you think they'll take that form literally?

I'd be surprised if he's over 140 myself... we,, it'd be a bit harsh anyway.

Of course if he is, the NRNB bets on Supreme/Triumph come into play....

        • I reckon Quilixios rating will be part of the decision making process. If they think he has been given a lenient enough mark (seems unlikely) still a reasonable chance he heads for the Boodles and Teepuhoo won’t, if not think Teapuhoo will be their main dart in the Boodles rating permitting

          • Watching what’s just happened at Kempton, we may be getting some good horses in this!!

He'd have to factor in improvement and also the proximity of Autumn vs Druids in both their runs.
              Big difference in the 2.
              He'll basically be guessing

Teahupoo and/or Quilixios would be the first unbeaten Graded race winners to run here?

I think Tritonic’s blast away in the Adonis may just persuade Gordon he needs the two darts of Quilixios and Zanahiyr in the Triumph.

Or he may think he don’t want both stuffed in the Triumph!!

                        • I hope the handicapper takes note of Visionarian just then (off 124). I backed him cos he looked well in.
He got put up just 4lb when second to thedevilscoachman.
And gave Riviere Detel 133 (upped to 134, since).

                          Which now looks harsh.

                            • Gordon’s got a few for the Boodles already - GZ, Riv Detel. He surely has to send one into the supreme. It makes no sense to me running Tea today for a facile win if you are targeting a handicap.
Quil can’t go, nor can zanihir now - this is his lad isn’t it? 33/1 and 25/1 nrnb taken and plenty of 25s still available. If he lines up what does he go off? 8/1? Third fav?
