Soctechnicaly not double-declaring, but single declaring once, then a second separate time three days later.
What I couldn’t recall is if Cheltenham developed a special rule for the Festival that you couldn’t declare for two races in the whole week, only one."Journeys to Glory, breathing in his head".

Hopefully Gordon knows that and doesn’t get caught out declaring Quilixios or Zanahiyr for the Boodles, thus negating their chance of a run in the Triumph

As said in my previous post it can only be a good thing although when the County was the last race of the week it was always interesting seeing those that fell/unseated early in the Coral Cup and Supreme appearing and them getting smashed in the ring...

However if you declare on Sunday for the Boodles on Tuesday and for some reason (travel problems/stone bruise/etc) the horse is withdrawn, IMO you can declare again on Wednesday for the Triumph on Friday.
Must be able to find something definitive online.

As part of the move to 48 hour declarations for all races at the Cheltenham Festival, no horse will be permitted to declare more than once at the meeting, whether subsequently declared a non-runner or not, unless eliminated from a race or declared as a reserve.
This applies to all races except the six non-novice Grade 1 contests: Stan James Champion Hurdle, OLBG Mares’ Hurdle (Grade 1) (Registered As The David Nicholson Mares’ Hurdle), Betway Queen Mother Champion Chase, Ryanair Chase, Sunbets Stayers’ Hurdle and the Timico Cheltenham Gold Cup.

Good find Norton’s, so if Quilixios or Zanahiyr are entered in the Boodles on final decs the Sunday before the Festival, that will shake up the Triumph market big time.
I really hope that doesn’t happen and the Graded horses stick to the race created for them."Journeys to Glory, breathing in his head".
