Yep, checked that one off too as low as hoped for.

You called this as well as Riviere D'Etal in your Irish diary SW, I went through these two last night and struggled to make a case for DA being shorter that RD, do you have a view on this or are they priced on potential to turn up here ?

Quillixios has an Irish mark of 144, so prob about 145-149 with UK tax..

My theory is he likes to have these kind of distractions out there to take away some of the questions about others. Think last year he said the week before Chelt that Envoi Allen might go to the supreme so it killed a week of having to answer any questions about any other of his horses..

                      Maybe he is bring shrewd.

I think he's trying to get a big mark for Quilixios from UK so on collaterals Saint Sam goes up higher too, thus messing up SS for Boodles and having to run in Triumph.

                      • Or, he runs Quilixios as the sacrificial lamb off 11:10 and has something around 128 down the bottom that gags up....

                          This makes some sense.
                          But
Cheveley park would almost certainly not allow him to run it in this race.
& Willie is unlikely to run a horse like Saint Sam in this race anyway.

Yeah, Ruby said he thinks SS will be going for the Triumph or something along them line, on RTC.

Not sure he'd do that when the horse has a real chance of winning The Triumph. Re-arranging the deck chairs.

good spot .. its probably been mentioned but was also the race Aramax prepped in .Hes not got the same profile as most of the winners of this race and tbh is pretty exposed to be raised 8lbs for all that will definately get him in .. Busselton is in off 133 and his French form was quite well rated by TF ..ahead of Hell Red , Momiral and just behind Quix ..obv different things have happened since.. would be v suprised if Bussleton wasnt the main hope for the stable ..
