  • Just of Joseph’s I’d still prefer Busselton & couldn’t see him overturning previous form with Teahupho or Youmador (if he’d stood up) both of whom could come here so wouldn’t be for me at the minute

Would you expect him to be higher in the weights with them, even after that win?

They might go up in the weights because of him

That was what I liked to. Looked like he might be beaten then had plenty more up his sleeve. Hopefully they've left loads to work on... certainly happy with 33/1 anyway.

          • Only worry is going to be him getting in. 129 was needed last year and not sure that's guaranteed tbh.

RPR of 125 which seems fair as none of the times were particularly good. May struggle to get in as you say.

              • I’m up to 7 horses for this race so far and I don’t even like it. I’m trying my best to show it some TLC this festival and give it a go. I’ve tried to love it even if it is the ‘runt’ of the festival, a race for horses not good enough to be involved in the Triumph. I think Paul Nicholls should be banned from the race and the Triumph for a year for all of his negativity he’s showed towards them, he has a number of talented young horses capable of running big races in both races and keeps claiming they weren’t bought for these races but future targets....what a spoil sport, especially after I had backed most of them with no cash out!!!

My list of Boodles Noodles so far are: Autumn Evening, Busselton, Druids Alter, Good Ball, Glorious Zoff, Longclaw, Reive D’estral & Saint Sam.

I do hope Duffle Coat & Adajero end up in this race though

That looks like a decent list to me TKP, and should allow you to trade into a decent position if that's your thing.

I’m happy with my selections thanks FM, I’m just expecting a classier horse to be diverted and even though it’s a handicap I think some trainers have been keeping an eye on both races for horses not quite good enough to win the triumph but capable of winning the Boodles off top weight.

with regards to trading I’m clueless as to how it works. I’ve been planning on learning for years as I’d benefit from it but I don’t understand how to do it. I’d happily pay someone for some online tuition if any one is prepared to offer it as a service??

                        Yep,

Hopefully it wasn’t too good a win that the handicapper puts up Riviere D’Etel a 1lb or two on collateral form.

The second was trained by an American trainer.

Was thinking she may get a pound or two, but don't think it will be enough to make much of a difference.

                            I think so too.

                            Wil know in 48 hours.

Thedevilscoachman’s RPR went up 5lb on today’s win.

                            • DRUIDS ALTAR raised in Ireland from 122 to 130, as expected/hoped for.

                              Boodles here we come.

25s still available with Bet365. Riviere D'Etal bumped up 1 as well to 134.
