  • Have I missed the case for Autumn Evening?!

Last two races read "lost 'position' towards finish.

    Cheltenham hill?

Where is the angle he has anything at all in hand on what he's shown?

Very convincing, I see Stuart Williams (Sporting Life) has now also followed you in this morning

He beat Curious Bride easily who won the race at Punchestown with Palm Beach and Coltor in. I know a few on here had their eye on those two as possibles for this race.

Cheers. I only looked at the last 2 and couldn't see it, at least I now see why people have mentioned him.

          • For anyone who likes him Busselton is 25/1 any race with Hills - that's industry biggest on this race alone. It was a really good performance on his first start for Joseph behind Zanahiyr - he held the others off quite nicely. Not sure if they plan to take in the DRF but he's Joseph's only entry so there's a chance they've still got an eye on the Triumph. He'd surely only go that route if he goes close at Leopardstown, in which case he's highly unlikely to be as big as 25/1. This price looks like an oversight to me.

I really liked his performance behind Zanahiyr, surely he will come on for it as well. To be chucked straight into a Grade 2 on his first start for them must show how highly they rate him. Joseph has a pretty good record in the Juvenile races at Cheltenham, so I agree 25/1 any race looks a good shout

Worth remembering though that he wasn't eligible for maidens having already won in France. This would have limited their options for his Irish debut, albeit they certainly could have found something easier than the Knight Frank!

Yes I saw that Eggs but you can get 40s with 365 for this race and this is surely the only sensible option. I think he's shown himself not to be a Triumph contender.

Hoping for another run to get a mark and will see what he is given. Also rated 78 on the flat where he contested in a decent field at he Curragh and finished 3rd.
Kevloaf this is when i flagged him up originally after listening to some podcast. They say hes a very nice horse and shown a lot at home.

Fair enough jonthehammer - best of luck with him. Not one I've added myself so far.... but that's because if I backed a horse every time I heard a good word I'd run out of cash.

                            • No Good Ball in the triumph entries so he’s here or not going Cheltenham surely

                                I spotted that.
                                I'd say it's good news.
I noticed his provisional rating has been upped from 126 to 131 also.
So just a case of managing that mark in a race somewhere.

I'd like to think with the tipsters putting him up, they will have asked the Nicholls yard for a heads up on likely plans.
