Has Hills market reopened? It was shut from 5am for essential maintenance

            • For context.

Nordano ran in a handicap of 128 last season, and got 21lb off the second placed Malaya (rated 138), and beat him 16 lengths.
He was put up to 140.
So even an easy win in this should mean the sort of mark Saxon has put above.
The rating of 115 is interesting. And backs up what I factored in when Gowel Road won a handicap off 122 the other day.

If this were to come to fruition, it also helps the handicapper rate Teahupoo.

              Lots of if's and but's, but ?

That was my write up in my antepost thread, after watching Gower Road win.

                Convincing or what ?

Nice one, acid test on Wednesday, weather permitting.

for those that don't follow the ratings on 4 yr olds in open handicaps.
His rating in a juvenile handicap would be 126.
                      I think.

This kind of helps explain why some juveniles often come out in their 5 yr old season with lofty ratings.

                          • I know there are some interested in Autumn Evening- mark of 122. Not sure that's enough..

Borderline I would say Jack. The lower the ratings band, in this case 120-130, the higher the tax by British handicapper. If I was connected to the horse I would feel more comfortable with an Irish 125

I have him nrnb but hoping he can get that mark up to get him in. They think a lot of him at home apparently.
