Blame the trainer for wasting that mark in a crap race
Thought he'd have a cracking chance here off 148
Looks tough now as he'd need to run to something in the low 160s to win off his new mark
Yes, looks as though that goose is well overcooked for Brewinupastorm. I was expecting more like 3-4 lbs, not 7.
Does Olly have a decent conditional that could take the 7 off, like Gordon did last year with Cracking Smart. Even then CS only managed 4th off 153 and there are bound to much better treated entries further down the ratings.

We are in a culture of you get raised for winning regardless of what the performance equates to. That was never a PB and shocking assessment giving 7lbs however it’s broken down.
As mentioned I fancied janika for this race. Been dropped 2lbs and now on a mark of 145, I don't think the horse will be top weight either which is a good sign. I really do think this horse has been overlooked for this. I know he finished 9th but that was the horse's first run back after a break and was top weight in the race. Plus the ground may of been softer than ideal.
the horse has experience at cheltenham coming 2nd on 2 occasions in the past over fences. Still 50/1 on williamhiill just hope it will be entered for this still.
It wasn't great but then did you see the ground?! If they're looking at the festival, which presumably they are, you don't want to be putting much effort in on that. I've seen greener mud wrestling arenas.
