I presume that is his Irish mark, if you look at the decs for Friday you’ll see he is 137!

I think he'll be a bet on Friday because he has to be trying.
They will be mad if they’re trying. SS is 133 so will get 3-4 from the Uk handicapper to get him in. He should just be looking for a nice 5th or 6th to qualify. I like Champagne Platinum for Henderson but don’t want him winning either.

For the older members who can recall Space Trucker winning the Grand Annual what a bet he was that day.
SS got 4lb for winning the qualifier and lost the final by 1 1/2L. How shrewd is that. She may well have plotted the odd horse up in the past, but lately.............

                  Where for doctor?

It’s jocked up for Navan tomorrow, along with Column of Fire running as well.

Silver Sheen has to miss the Huntingdon Pertemps Qualifier as the meeting has been abandoned.

Aye was it not abandoned days ago though?

So likely he was already re-routed to Navan.

Yes, I think its more that the horse isnt qualified for the Pertemps due to the Qualifier being abandoned that the point was made.

There are five left now, Mussleborough next Sunday is the next.

                        • I’m sure they always re-schedule any abandoned qualifiers...

The BHA do try to, not always successfully when poor weather and a much fuller racing programme c/w Ireland,

They may try and add the Pertemps Qualifier race to another card, it’s not likely that they would try and run the whole Huntingdon meeting again, as they can in Ireland, where they are able to slot them into blank Racing days,

Yes SW, this is what I was suggesting, God forbid the Punchestown meeting gets abandoned, I’d imagine they would move heaven and earth to get that qualifier staged...

                              • I don't think Huntingdon was the initial plan for Silver Sheen anyway as Harrington mentioned a qualifier after the initial Navan race so don't think they would have ran him again so soon.
