    • The Bosses Oscar +5 Irish 143. Hopefully UK handicapper doesn't go silly now but wishful thinking.

      • 5lbs to 143 the Irish hcapper for TBO i've just been reading via Twitter, interesting to see what the Uk assessor does this year as the gap seems even more obvious this season so could we be seeing plenty of 7/8/9 lb rises instead of the 4/5?

Yeah but if he gets 8/9 lbs from the BHA too will have to be a proper horse to get up off 151/2.

He surely gets more than the standard 3 or 4. It'd be handy if GE gave him an entry over here just to check.

I think thats a bit harsh myself... they dropped dead in front and he found himself leading when he hadnt really done anything. I personally think he did well not to win and was much the best horse in the race,

Not much they can do about that though is there to be fair? Just mean I think it was fair enough based on the run. I guessed 142 and some thought 3 or 4 lbs higher.

Probably especially given the back form with Flooring Porter(rightly or wrongly) just theorising

It's an angle that the British handicapper could use to hit him hard, possibly add as much as 10lb.

                            Thats what I thought.
Would be harsh but it looks like he'll be very close to 150.
He'll need another arrow for sure.

Im hopeful he was beaten too far for that to really be applied

I personally don't buy into Flooring Porter being a top G1 horse all of a sudden(time will tell but he's won one so fair play to him) he got a nice aggressive ride and tactics won it on the day coupled with Gordys few being arguably below par as a few have been of late, i don't think he was the best horse in the race similar to Frodon last week(Unpopular opinion) but it's easy to see literal form and ponder, hell i swear the Uk assessors have teared up the rulebook this year and go with what they fancy anyway
