I say sadly because i have the bosses oscar at 27/1 for the pertemps id much rather have him rubning there then the 16s i have collum of fire for, where as COF i have 27/1 in the coral
I hadn't seen CoFire priced for the Coral Cup, he wasn't there a few days ago.
Don't remember you being so hot on the handicaps before Ray, like all the ones you've mentioned recently The handicap king!
I think its more a case of all the vals goin in all the races..it just seems the handicap markets especially with willy hill have plenty of value left to get hold of i also like the stats/info i saw someone do a long write up a couple of months back about the novices that elliot sends to the handicaps..also mullins as much as he has a go in them it just seems elliot takes the handicap plots much more serious then the other trainers..hope spmeone can point me to the oringinal post if they have a clue what im on about?!
Id of thought collum of fire would be better suited to the coral cup? I have him for both but id imagine the pertemps is more likely sadly
When I am trying to work out where Willie and Gordon will target their horses for the pertemps and the county I usually fall back on historical results
willie has never won a pertemps
gordon has never won a county
first time for everything though
I have heard this from a mate
the king Pimm also eluded to it in a previous post but also stated it was unconfirmed
not sure how I can check for rule changes in qualifying
Column of Fire not declared for the 2m4f handicap at Limerick. Hopefully a declaration for the qualifier on Sunday will be forthcoming tomorrow.
Now Sky have a Pertemps market I might have to play the 16/1 they have, CoF as we know is a graded horse who would have bolted up in last seasons M Pipe, I’m sure I remember Elliott saying (before the Pipe) that he would be a G1 horse this season so they’re clearly cheating with him all this year too.
I see he has a Coral Cup quote too, whatever handicap he chooses, assuming that’s the plan, he will be a very warm order...

Think it was obvious he would be declared for the Pertempts Q as he is not qualified for the race yet and they'd want the option of the Pertempts final even if the Martin Pipe was/is the plan.

Just been waffling to myself in my diary about the same thing!
Is it money back if he doesn't qualify with Skybet? That wouldn't be usual ante post terms.
My understanding is that if any horse doesn't qualify (whether they attempt a qualification or not) or is balloted out they pay refund, I could be wrong...
