Joseph isn't the worst target trainer out there though and he's proven pretty good at getting one ready for the day that matters.

                  I know you were mate.

I'm sure we all have our eyes on a few GE horses when we look at the Leopardstown qualifier over Christmas.

Absolutely. The stats for that race (thanks Saxon) are unreal!

                    • Tower Bridge is ridiculously well handicapped over fences too. He may be better to back any race than for the Pertemps.

It would seem odd to travel to England for a qualifier if they were planning to go back over fences. It would be a decent double bluff though and they've hooked me

                        • It’s a pretty decent backstop, but I can’t help thinking JP will have a plan to exploit that chase mark and a betting opportunity!

Sounds very plausible Spectre. Not sure im a taker @14s any race. Can't think we'd be ahead of the game with those odds.

                            • He was a decent novice hurdler.

But he ran off 145 today, I'm not sure there's much slack in that, to be better than the rest in a Pertemps Hurdle Final.

                              • As I said above I think he could be hiding in plain sight. Possibly a JP diversion for No Comment, and to have a punt later in the Kim Muir on Tower Bridge.
