If Column Of Fire was well and heading here wouldn't that 25/1 have been taken? It seems unlikely it would get any bigger.
...I recall suggestions that CoF is going chasing. Hills have a 33-1 RaB for it to win the Brown Advisory Plate but not sure if that’s from somebody who knows the plans.
Gordon RP massive stable tour gave an assessment on Column of Fire which said.
- He was very sore after the Martin Pipe, but thankfully we have him for this season and we'll go over fences.
He's cantering away and is a month to six weeks away from running.
He is a classy horse.
Fences it is for Column of Fire.

Its been covered in a thread somewhere.
In the ATR tour he mentioned we won't see him till xmas and he'll be handicap hurdling.
In the RP tour he mentioned going chasing.
We'll see soon enough, although the longer he's in the shed, the more likely he'll stay hurdling I'd imagine.

If he isnt chasing by Christmas, he is odds on to stay hurdling.
The UK handicapper would wallop him up for looking like a Festival winner too.
He ran off 143 in the Martin Pipe but the BHA Handicapper say he ran to a BHA Performance Rating of 148, so a 5lb rise is possible, and too high for the Martin Pipe 145 ceiling.

Tricky starting a novice chasing campaign late.
And Gordon thinks he's well handicapped.
Think he ran off his Irish Mark in the pipe, 143, and now rated 145, so 148 may be about right.
Indefatigable got 6lb
Pileon got 4lb.
And if he goes for a pertemps, qualifier, then a placed finish is unlikely to get penalised too heftily.
So I disagree.
I think if he's going chasing then it needs to be soon. Unless they are going to give him lots of chasing experience in behind, and keep him as a novice until next year. Which is normally done by accident and not design.
.....I understand today’s race at Market Rasen is a qualifier, Joseph O’Brien sends over Tower Bridge.
Yes, and the last time I checked there were only 11 runners, I’d suggest this isn’t a race to bet in with the majority doing everything they can for a 5th/6th finish...

Only 9 left now. A lot of jockeys saying "no, After you" to each other
