Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

Full quote for Column of Fire in the RP 3 weeks ago:

He looked as though he was delivering a winning challenge when falling at the last in the Martin Pipe. He was very sore afterwards but thankfully we have him for this season and we'll go over fences. He's cantering away and is about a month or six weeks away from running. He's a classy horse.

Yeh I’ll take the 217.0 BFSP but I’m just letting everyone know now, so you can tick a race off the list !

Perhaps a victim of getting it priced too early?

Keith gave The Bosses Oscar as his pick on a podcast on Friday, when asked to give an early one for the Festival that wasnt called Envoi Allen.

He said, The Bosses Oscar for the Pertemps Hurdle
"Journeys to Glory, breathing in his head".

Would you have Wide Receiver in your "plot list" for this race???

Gordon tends to prefer the Martin Pipe and Pertemps, over the Coral Cup.

But a horse like Wide Receiver could be considered for all three at the moment.

I would say the Martin Pipe at this stage, but "any race" could be a good call, if its around 20/1 (I haven't checked that yet).

If it looks like he isnt going above OR 145 then maybe the Martin Pipe.

If he gets a Pertemps Qualifier entry then the Pertemps could be the plan if he stayed well in it.

Gordon usually doesn't run Novices in the Pertemps with one big exception being when a 5yo Delta Work won the race for him.

                            • If Column Of Fire was well and heading here wouldn't that 25/1 have been taken? It seems unlikely it would get any bigger.

Saxon gave a much better answer than I could manage!!! But for what it's worth I think the Martin Pipeis more likely and have backed him accordingly.
