Crowdfunder - Fat Jockey Forum upgrade

Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

Thanks for that. Just took 35/1 with a boost. Think that’s just way too big. Tbh I’d have been happy with 25s.

Market leader not currently running (could change obviously)

I'd say the 33/1 has legs
Just wish there was a place market that boosted by eliminating the win place. I would gladly sacrifice the win part for enhanced place odds and would then consider him a very good bet.

      • Would the 3 miles not be a concern for those of you on Spiritofthegames?

I thought that as he travelled well that race I had Coral Cup in my head but did also keep on, might be worth another go at 3miles being older now.

Won a point to point over 3 miles in 2016

            Seriously though.

We'd have said the same about Mohaayed.
            And it's 33-1.
            Probably worth chancing really.

            • Just been on a rare venture to my Ladbrokes account and turns out I have a quid free bet for guessing a football score correctly. Count me in lads, all aboard!

I am torn. For me his lto performance was typical of him rather than strategic but I can see I am going to back him with gritted teeth.

Yeah it's a concern but it was a concern for 'any amount of horses' before they tried it. Some will do better, some will do worse.... some it won't affect that much.

There are plenty of "kept on" in his Cheltenham finishes when watching back/reading through RP, I think at 33/1 it's worth the chance that he isn't worse at 3m....

I feel the same about Champagne Platinum to be fair, wouldn't back him at his current price for the same reasons.

Before running in the qualifier his only other run over 3 miles, under rules, was on boxing day. He was beaten 17l by Canelo at Wetherby on ground officially soft. The time was 7.10 slow by 1.10 suggesting very slow ground. On spring ground I expect him to stay

                    • Any reason I'm missing not to cash out a bet on Dallas Des Pictons for this at a profit?

People wonder why I bang on about protecting your accounts, the lack of cashout has cost me plenty in recent years but for those that do have the facility use it !

Sorry, quite busy at work recently so not able to be as on top of things as I'd like and I've had a couple of beers this evening so looked too good to be true....!

It’s incredible bookmakers are stupid enough to allow cashout, let alone cashout at a profit, on a horse who cannot qualify for the race he’s quoted in...
