Hello Fat Jockeys,
Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum
We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.
I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

Or, if G thinks he has that much in hand he’d probably be bang there in the Grade1 Bartlett. So surly he goes Bartlett.
what do people think?

Looking at a couple of the fancied British contenders (as we don't have the current marks for the Irish) Imperial Alcazar is rated 3lbs below its RPR and Come on Teddy 2lbs below.
I assume that the handicapper thinks it's run last time out wasn't the limit of his ability (as do all the rest of us).
I think it will still go off favourite despite the anguish of it's backers (of which I am a major one myself)

I feel that I need to cash out my TBO bets now too..

How Dandy Mag was put up 8lbs and this lad only put up 5 was a real odd one at the time. Clearly TBO was the best horse in that race and the attempt to win was suspect at the least.
As others have said, a Davy ride sneaking him into 4th or 5th would have seen a nice mid 140s mark for this and a trip to empty my bank account...

Possibly but prize money for 2nd in the Grand Annual more than 3rd in the Arkle (last year at least) and why not stick to the WPM adage of running in the race you have got the most chance to win? Think his entry is in case it cuts up and it's not doing that at the moment anyways.
I'd rather win a Grand Annual than finish 2nd in an Arkle - not everyone will agree with that but a majority would I think.
Best shut up now - this is the Pertemps thread after all
