What do you think then GS? Winner was rated 134 before today. Cant see him going up by much more than 5 or 6? I was thinking he might go to 139, so TBO might get 142?

His last 3 runs prior to today have been 138, 137,137. I don't see why they would think today was suddenly 7lb's better. But maybe Im pocket talking!Last edited by Can't Catch Me; 28 December 2020, 08:50 PM.

TBO has to go up quite a bit for that. They didn't try and win the race at all and it was clear he had loads of horses under him.
Probably 6lb for today and could easily get another 6-8 of the UK handicapper. He'll be nearer 150 than 140 come the festival but not sure that'll be enough to stop him.

Plenty of plot jobs may get put up loads and saved for irish handicaps instead

For every horse the UK handicapper taxes he is effectively sticking two fingers up at his Irish counterpart...
